Procedural Writing about Oobleck

Question: Do you know how to make oobleck?

Materials: Cornflower, water, bowl and flat surface.

Steps
  1. Add a little bit of water on a flat surface.
  2. Keep on adding tablespoons of cornstarch on the water.
  3. Mix it until it looks like a blob of dough.

Results: When I poked the oobleck fast it felt like it was a rock. When I poked it slowly it went through slowly.

Conclusion: There is 3 states of matter, Liquid, Solid and Gas. You can put your finger in liquid because the particles spread out a little. Solid is hard because the particles are pulling together. You can go right through gas because they spread out far. That’s the law of states of matter and oobleck doesn’t follow the law.
